Keaton Woodend

Facilities Specialist

As a Facilities Specialist at the MSU Research Foundation, Keaton oversees maintenance at the VanCamp Incubator, Alliance buildings, and East Lansing City Center, while active supporting all tenants in MSU Research Foundation buildings.

With over over 8 years of experience in facilities maintenance, Keaton is actively pursuing advancement to a Facilities Management role. He is working towards WELL Building Certification, lab safety certification, and advanced training in general electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

Before joining the Foundation, Keaton served as a maintenance technician and provided administrative support for various organizations, including the Douglas J Aveda Institute, Lansing Neurosurgery, Compass Health Rehab, and Compass Health Cancer Center.

Outside of work, Keaton enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, and regularly visits extended family. His hobbies include woodworking, golf, hunting, fishing, gardening and art.
