University Health Park | Lansing, Michigan

The University Health Park (UHP) in Lansing, Michigan, supports research, science, education, training, and commercialization through strong partnerships to create a cutting-edge health and wellness destination for the greater Lansing community and beyond.

Michigan State University acquired this land in the mid-1960s and featured an entomology lab for 20+ years. In 1988, Michigan State University deeded 110 acres of this land to the MSU Research Foundation to build a research park. After several early projects from 1989 to 1996, the development of the University Corporate Research Park stalled.

The McLaren Greater Lansing project is the first significant development in the park in over 20 years. The campus was recently renamed University Health Park to describe better the uses occurring in the complex. The University Health Park is 110 acres, and the McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital within the University Health Park is about 55 acres.
